Vietnam has 320 food product codes licensed for export to China

Vietnamese businesses had 320 codes of agricultural and food products licensed to be exported to China as of 11am on December 24, according to the Vietnam Sanitary and Phytosanitary Notification Authority and Enquiry Point (SPS Vietnam).

Enhancing capacity in implementing SPS agreement

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just sent an official dispatch to relevant agencies and organisations, seeking opinions on the draft project entitled “Improving the effectiveness of the enforcement of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and SPS commitment within the framework of free trade agreements (FTAs)”. The project aims to improve Vietnam's capacity in implementing its obligations under the WTO SPS Agreement and the new-generation FTAs in international agriculture, forestry, fishery and food trading.
