General Department of Vietnam Customs has issued a Decision No. 228/QĐ-TCHQ promulgating the Plan of Developing Customs - Business Partnership and stakeholders in 2019.
The electronic handling of customs procedures, the centralized process of database at the General Department of Customs level; the application of special authorized economic operation mechanism on procedures according to the standards of the World Customs Organization; and the application of modern technical equipment in customs inspection and supervision, etc., have created changes in customs management, met the requirements of modern customs management and complied with international standards.
