Da Nang , Mar. 6 (VNA) – The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Laos Airlines have agreed to open up a new air route linking the Lao provinces Pakse and Savannaket with Vietnam ’s central coastal city of Da Nang .
The route will be operated by Laos Airlines from mid-April (during Laos ’s traditional Tet holiday), with three flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using a ATR-72 aircraft. The passengers being targeted are mostly the Vietnamese community in Savannakhet, tourists and visitors from Vientiane in Laos , Bangkok and the North-East of Thailand. /.
