Viet Nam and Japan will raise the two-way trade measures by 2020

Viet Nam and Japan should work together to remove difficulties for Viet Nam’s agricultural products, while developing Viet Nam’s education and human resources.

Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung suggested on May 30 in Tokyo during the meeting with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Motoo Hayashi, who is also office manager of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Alliance.

Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung expressed his pleasure in meeting the Japanese Minister on the occasion of the 22nd Conference on The Future of Asia in Tokyo. He also expressed his hope that during the tour Japanese leaders and businesses to promote the bilateral economic linkages.

The Deputy PM suggested the Japanese side proactively provide technical support for Viet Nam to implement the industrialization strategy; discuss specific ways to develop Viet Nam’s auxiliary industries; and build industrial parks in Hai Phong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces.

Minister  Hayashi Motoo also expressed that the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement which Viet Nam and Japan are signatories for offering abundant cooperative opportunities. He announced that PM Shinzo Abe had already decided to provide around US$200 billion for infrastructure development in the region.

The two sides should work together to remove difficulties for Viet Nam’s agricultural products, while developing Viet Nam’s education and human resources.
