Vietnam has always created favourable conditions and opportunities for Japanese investors to do business in the country.
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung made the remark while receiving Fukui Hiroyuki, CEO of the Toyota Motor Corporation, in Hanoi on May 19.
Mr Dung said Vietnam highly valued its economic and trade relations with Japan and expects that Japanese investors will help the country develop its automobile industry.
Mister Fukui Hiroyuki suggested the Vietnamese government should issue stable tax policies to develop the automobile sector and adopt appropriate policies for each development period, particularly in the face of the impact of the ASEAN Community.
Through its business activities, Toyota is keen to further contribute to Vietnam’s socio-economic development, he said.
