Ly Son currently has many advantages to attract business investment in the fields of fishing catch, seafood processing, agriculture, especially in the field of tourism. The district has been promoting and creating all favorable conditions to attract investment.

In the period 2016-2020 , Ly Son has identified 16 projects to call for investment. Of which, there are 9 projects in tourism and services: Supermarkets , Tourist Resort,beach resortsouth of An Hai commune, works to serve visitors , synthetic sea resort north and south of An Vinh commune ,beach resortMu Cu ; Resorts and high-end service at Little Island; and urban.
In the field of fisheries and agriculture, it will call for investment in seafood processing plants; factory building and repair of ships; garlic processing plant … With each project , investors can choose to invest in various ways : Directly , BOT , BT , public and private.
In recent years , the majority of investment projects are in the field of tourism infrastructure , but only focuse on some central areas . Meanwhile, many other sectors also have advantages such as seafood processing , shipbuilding.
