The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) will begin accepting electronic documents for a number of administrative procedures in the export-import field on its portal starting from November 1.
The move is an effort to reform administrative procedures and facilitate trade activities.
The services provided on the portal include issuing, re-issuing and renewing car import licenses; issuing, re-issuing, renewing and modifying export-import rights certificates of foreign traders without presence in Vietnam.
The Department of Export-Import under the MOIT stated that paper documents will not be accepted for the above-mentioned procedures from November onwards.
The services are available on the MOIT portal at http://online.moit.gov.vn.
