Vietnam exports $700 million of goods to EU after two months of EVFTA implementation

Since the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement took effect on August 1, the authorised organizations have issued more than 15,000 sets of certificates of origin with a turnover of $700 million to 28 EU countries, according to the latest report by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Implementing the import – export preferential tariff under EVFTA

The General Department of Vietnam Customs sent a document to provincial customs departments to implement Decree No.111/2020/NĐ-CP of the Government dated September 18, 2020 promulgating on the Preferential Export Tariff and Special Preferential Import Tariff of Vietnam for the implementation of the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Union (EVFTA) in the 2020 – 2022 period which took effect from September 18.
