The 13th Vietnam International Trade Fair in Ho Chi Minh City – VIETNAM EXPO 2015 IN HO CHI MINH CITY organized by VINEXAD along with VIETNAM CYCLE 2015, takes place from 02nd to 05th December 2015 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) – 799 Nguyen Van Linh Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Considered one of the most important trade promotion channels between Vietnam and foreign enterprises, VIETNAM EXPO has been successfully organized for 12 years among Vietnam’s leading exhibitions. VIETNAM EXPO 2014 welcomes back Belarus National Stalls with an exhibition area over 300m2. While Vietnam is strong at consumption goods and light industries, Belarus operates excellently on heavy industries and energy. Both countries, therefore, can support each other in investment and trade. In the near future, after the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) between Vietnam and the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia comes to an end, it will be a useful tool to enhance trade association between Vietnam and the Customs Union in general and between Vietnam and Belarus in particular. Intensified collaboration and interchange through commercial events are also proof for increasingly close trade relationship of both countries.
Nowadays, India has been one of the ten most significant trade partners of Vietnam, as commercial exchange has been rapidly rising with the growth rate in the period of 2008 – 2012 at 12,2% per year and Vietnam – India export and import growth reached 46,3% and 1,1% per year respectively.
Indian delegation including 31 companies leaded by Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) exhibit products such as: machines, devices, minerals, chemicals, fertilizers, agricultural products, food, footwear, textile, art and craft, jewellery, household appliances… The attendance of Indian enterprises at Vietnam Expo in Ho Chi Minh City is not only to confirm Indian Government’s goal and attempt to strongly improve association between both countries in all respects, but also one of Indian’s Look East policies.
