The 2016 Vietnam International Plastic and Rubber Industry Exhibition (Vietnam Plas, Vietnam Rubber) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on September 28.
This year’s event features nearly 500 booths displaying the latest high-tech equipment for plastic and rubber production from over 300 companies from eleven countries and territories worldwide, including Vietnam, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, China, India and Iran.
Co-hosted by Vinexad Company, the Vietnam Plastic Association and the Vietnam Rubber Association, the event aims to disseminate the two sectors’ leading brands and latest machinery.
The event is a good chance for the participants to promote their trade names and products and find partners, as well as to help local businesses access up-to-date technology in order to improve their competitiveness.
The event has received favourable feedback for the past fifteen years, having been organised annually in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
The event runs until October 1.
