Prime Minister Dung meets Asian leaders

 

Bali, Nov. 18 (VNA) – Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Nov. 18 had separate meetings with leaders of Thailand , Brunei , China , Japan , the Republic of Korea , Malaysia and Singapore , on the sidelines of the 19th ASEAN Summit in Bali , Indonesia . 
 
At the meetings between PM Dung with Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra, Brunei’s Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Japanese PM Yoshihiko Noda, RoK President Lee Myung-bak, Malaysian PM Najib Razak and Singaporean PM Lee Hsien Loong, the leaders promised to make greater efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Vietnam and the concerned nations, especially in economics, trade, investment and emerging issues such as coping with climate change and environmental issues. 
 
Meeting with Chinese Premier Wen, the two government leaders noted with pleasure the development of bilateral ties in a wide range of areas, especially in trade and investment. 
 
PM Dung and Premier Wen pledged to effectively implement the already signed agreements, including the Agreement on basic principles guiding the settlement of sea-related issues. 
 
At the meeting with the Thai PM, the two leaders agreed to further promote bilateral relations, especially in the fields of economics and trade as well as responding to climate change./.
