Hanoi , September 6 (VNA) – Norwegian King Harald V has spoken highly of Vietnam ’s efforts and achievements in such fields as climate change response, mine clearance, trade promotion and economic development in the context of the global economic crisis.
Receiving Vietnamese Ambassador Le Thi Tuyet Mai who presented her credentials on October 3, the king also expressed his delight at the development of the relations of friendship and multi-sided cooperation between the two countries. He also recalled memories of his visit to Vietnam in 2004.
Ambassador Mai expressed deep gratitude to the king, government and people of Norway for their fine sentiment and valuable support to Vietnam, and pledge to do her best to contribute to the further consolidation and development of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
